Vertigo (BPPV)

Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) is a common inner ear condition that causes vertigo, dizziness, and unsteadiness. It’s usually caused by calcium crystals becoming dislodged in the inner ear. Vertigo is the symptom of feeling like the world around you is spinning and affects your balance.

The Epley’s manoeuvre (EM) is a series of specific head movements which are applied to the patient suffering with vertigo by the treating clinician.  It is safe and very effective in treating the symptoms of vertigo, with often a considerable improvements within 24 hours of receiving EM.
